Scandinavian Kitchen is all about food, namely the basic staples of Scandinavian food we miss from home: less bread, more grain, more fish and cured meats. We realised that there are not many places we can get that kind of food in London so we decided to trade in our suits for aprons and set up Scandinavian Kitchen.
We opened the doors in July 2007 and have gone from strength to strength ever since, fine tuning our smorgasbord and grocery selection along with getting to know the many wonderful people who frequent our café and shop.
That's really all there is to it. We want to be nothing too fancy (just tasty), and want to be a nice, inviting and laidback alternative to your traditional sandwich place. We're a café and deli that aim to serve great lunch food and offer a large selection of Scandinavian groceries. All in a very friendly environment that welcomes everyone: good food with love from Scandinavia.
